Mildred "Millie" Roberta Wise

Mrs. Wise was born in Wetumpka, Alabama. She attended the University of Alabama. She was an avid gardener and cook and enjoyed playing golf. She was a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, a member of the Standard Club of Montgomery, AL, and a life-long member of Temple B’nai Israel Sisterhood.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emile “Oat” Wise who died in 1981. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Joel Jankowsky of McLean, VA and Alice and Gary Friedman of Madison, MS; grandchildren, Joanna and Brent Bender of Dallas, TX, Dr. Jeff Friedman of Pensacola, FL, Lisa and Darius Brawn of New Canaan, CT, Jill Jankowsky of Austin, TX, and David and Sarah Jankowsky of Washington D.C. /Singapore; and great-grandchildren, Josh and Emily Bender, Julian and Annabel Brawn, and Norah Jankowsky.

A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Temple B’nai Israel Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
