On April 11, 2014, Nancy Kay Lee, age 83, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went home to be with God. She was preceded in her journey by her husband David E. Lee, her son Carl Russell “Rusty” Lee, her parents Carl A. Coppock and Pauline Crites Coppock, and her brother Carl Coppock. She is survived by her sons Randy Lee and his wife Donna, David E. Lee, Jr., and his wife Janie, and Thomas Allen Lee and his wife Jonna, her grandchildren Andy Lee, Marc Lee, Beth McPherson, Dustin Lee, Gene Lee, Stephanie Decker and Camarie Vedis, and nine great-grandchildren, as well as her sister JoNita Dahlgren and her family, her brother John A. Coppock and his family, her sister-in-law Merilyn Morris and her family, and countless friends and extended family members. Nancy was a long-time member of Central Presbyterian Church, and was responsible for building and maintaining its History Center, which chronicles the more than 100 years of its existence. She was an accomplished pianist, author, gardener and a devoted, loving Mom and Grandma to her children and their children. She will be missed, but never forgotten. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10 o’clock a.m. at Guardian West Funeral Home, followed by burial beside her husband at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, Nancy’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of choice.
