

Nilsa Antonia Coleman, 61, went to be with the Lord October 27, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born January 10, 1949 in Yauco, Puerto Rico where she was raised by her loving uncle, Ismael Quinones. Nilsa moved to Buffalo, New York as a young adult and later to the Oklahoma City area in 1980. She married her true love, Jimmy Coleman, on November 6, 1982. Nilsa loved taking care of her home, cleaning and yard work. She kept a long list of chores for Jimmy that never seemed to get any shorter in nearly 28 years of marriage. Nilsa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Delores “Dee” Coleman. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy; son, Al (Cano) Coleman and his wife, Cindy; daughter, Nilsa (Ivy) Pierce and her husband, Dexter; uncle, Ismael Quinones and his wife, Aurea; brother, Jose A. Rodriguez; sisters, Rosa N. Rodriguez and Sonia E. Camacho; grandchildren, Brittany Urbina, Zackary Pierce, Destany Pierce and Elijah Coleman; father-in-law, James Coleman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010 at OKC Faith Tabernacle with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
