Miss Norma Dean Damron went to Heaven on December 18, 2021. Dean was born in Konawa, Oklahoma on March 25, 1937 and lived in Konawa and Midwest City, Oklahoma. Dean had a successful banking career spanning more than thirty years culminating with her retirement as the Vice President and Private Secretary to the President of American National Bank in Midwest City. She has been cited several times as an outstanding citizen of Oklahoma and Midwest City, including being listed as one of Oklahoma’s most influential female banking professionals. She lived a long and wonderful life surrounded by loving family and friends. Dean was preceded in death by her father, Kenard Damron, Mother, Bessie Damron (Bickerstaff), and brother, John Damron and wife Mary Damron. She is survived by her brother, William Thomas Damron, nieces, Norma, Cathy, and Terri Damron and nephew, G. Scott Damron. She also leaves behind two generations of great-nieces and nephews, including Janis, Justin, John, Casey, Leslie, and Jennifer. Viewing and visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street Oklahoma City on Wednesday, December 20, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. with funeral services at the same location on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:30 A.M., and graveside service following at 2:30 P.M. at Konawa Cemetery.
