Ofir De Leon Reyna

Ofir was born August 18, 1956 in Mexico to Candelaria Reyna Moreno and Mario De Leon Ramirez. In 1979, he married the love of his life, Ignacia Martinez Reynaga. In 2000, they relocated to the United States and settled in OKC. He spent many years working in the construction industry before retiring in 2010.

When he wasn't working, Ofir enjoyed playing pool, cards, and dominos. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party. He was a talented cook who made wonderful chicharrones and asado. Family was his top priority and he was never happier than when he was surrounded by his kids and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, a caring father, a dedicated grandpa, and a trusted friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Ofir is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Ignacia Martinez Reynaga; six children: son Ofir De Leon Jr. (Ma Consepcion Cabazos); daughter Hilda De Leon (Eduardo Zuniga); daughter Maria Espinoza (Enrique Espinoza) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son Dimas De Leon (Tara De Leon) of Yukon, Oklahoma; son Candelario De Leon (Beatriz De Leon); and son Luis Felipe De Leon (Andrea De Leon); mother Candelaria Reyna Moreno of Mexico; brother Eliezer De Leon Reyna and brother Sergio De Leon Reyna; grandchild Morelia De Leon, grandchild Michelle De Leon, grandchild Maria De Leon, grandchild Jhonatan Zuniga, grandchild Cristo Zuniga, grandchild Citlaly, grandchild Elizabeth, grandchild Lynette Guadalupe, grandchild Yarely Azucena, grandchild Nidia Cecilia, grandchild Adrian, grandchild Anthony Ofir, grandchild Ahtziri Deyani, grandchild Drelyn, grandchild Abram, grandchild Charlee, grandchild Nayeri Ignacia and grandchild Luisa.

Ofir was preceded in death by father Mario De Leon Ramirez; sister Delfina De Leon Reyna.

A visitation for Ofir will be held Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A mass will occur Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 4201 S. McKinley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.

Serving as pallbearers are Jose Luis Flores Martinez, Francisco Castaneda, Antonio Reyes, Rogelio Romero, Hilorio Figeroa, Fabian Castillo, Guiellermo Casillas and Alfredo Medina.
