

Ophelia Rosie Taylor, 82 of Luther, Oklahoma passed away October 26, 2013. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma March 20, 1931 to Alfred Benjamin and Rose Zina (Hill) McInturff. She worked as the cafeteria manager for Standard Life Insurance Company. She enjoyed gardening, veggies and flowers, her fish pond and holiday get-togethers with her family. She loved to cook and she would cook enough to feed two armies. She was a care-giver to her son almost 40 years. She loved being a mother and everyone called her mother: even her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Taylor; two brothers, one sister and son, Ricky Taylor. Survivors include: two daughters: Kathi McMinn and husband, Andy and Patti Johns and husband, Les; grandchildren: Donovan Wesley, Daphne Taylor, Christopher Elder, Jeremy Wesley, Shawna Walker, Derrica White and Tiffany Gatlin; twenty great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and many family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
