Ophelia Terry

Ophelia Terry, 90, of Choctaw, OK passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born May 25, 1923 in Bebe, Oklahoma to Charles Andrew and Willa Pearl (Morgan) Maddox. Ophelia loved her Lord and was baptized at an early age. In 1941, Ophelia married Calvin Eugene Terry in Hobart, Oklahoma and to this union she was blessed with four children. She enjoyed crochet, ceramics and making porcelain dolls. Her grandchildren were always invited to join her in her doll making hobby and each of them have a doll that looks just like them to remember her by. Ophelia loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She will be greatly missed. Ophelia is survived by three children, Glenda Roberts, Larry Terry and wife Sue, and Dale Terry and wife Donna; ten grandchildren, Kyle Roberts, Rick Roberts, Lonnie Terry, Jerry Terry, Richard Terry, Christy Gates, Jennifer Cox, Todd Terry, April Terry and Aaron Terry; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her parents, son Gerald, one granddaughter, four sisters and three brothers.
