

Pauline was born August 18, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John Edgar (Velma) Landon Jr. Attended Phillips University/Texas Christian University pursuing Music Education. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dr. Jerry Don Johnson for 40 years. She is survived by her Brother, Charles Landon, a World War II Veteran, Daughter, Denise (Ret. Lt. Col. Mark) Hole of OKC, and Son, Todd (Jacqui Miller and Son, David) Johnson, of Ardmore. Grandchild, Jeri Dawn (Cayden Ridgeway) Hole and Great Grandchild, Baby Ridgeway and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pauline will always be known as a Minister's Wife. Pauline spent her life caring for family members, her love of family always came first. She enjoyed hosting many family and friend parties. She also taught piano for over 60 years. Her personality was contagious, accepting many people into our family life. She had an ornery side and enjoyed playing practical jokes.
She was a serving Servant of God, serving where her talents were needed at Western Oaks Christian Church, First Christian Church of Oklahoma City and Crown Heights Christian Church.
Pauline was an active Member in CHCC, serving as: Mobile Meals Driver, an Elder, Congregation Board, Christian Women’s Fellowship, office volunteer, singing in the choir, a Bell Ringer, Member of Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, Central Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, Jewel Box and many other committees.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N. Kelley Ave., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Crown Heights Christian Church, 4020 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Pastor Aaron Krueger officiating.
