

Peggy Jeanne Barbieri was called back home to be with our Lord on October 7, 2022. Peggy was 93 years old. She was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Albert and Bernetta Bonneau. She was the oldest of two girls, she is proceeded in death by her husband Charles Barbidri, younger sister Jo Bette Cook, her brother in law Gene Cook and her parents. She attended Oklahoma A&M where she met, fell in love with, and married her soul mate, Charles Barbieri. Together they built a life based on love and faith.
Peggy was a lover of music, art, cats, and most importantly her family. Member of UMW and a member of the Esther Ruth Circle at Southern Hills United Methodist Church. She was known best as “Mom, Nana, and Aunt Peg”.
She is survived by her oldest son, David Barbieri and his wife Martha, her daughter Dana Barbieri-McMahon and her granddaughters Kristin Shinsako, Kelsey McMahon, Katie Barbieri, Great-grandchildren Charlotte Shinsako, Isabella Shinsako and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved to talk about and tell treasured stories about.
Services will be held at Southern Hills UMC Wednesday at 10am. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s association. She will be buried at Ft. Sill National Cemetery on October 18, 2022 at 11:00 am.
