Phillip L Heston

He’s survived by his wife of 39 years, Savai Heston of Edmond; daughter, Anna Lee Heston of Oklahoma City; daughter, Somjai Grice and son-in-law, Matthew Grice of Edmond; grandsons, Mason and Luka Grice; brother, David Heston and sister-in-law, Karen Heston of Tulsa; brother, Daryl Heston and sister-in-law, Darla Heston of Locust Grove; niece, Ashley Stump of Pryor; and nephew, Blake Heston of Locust Grove; and aunt, Jo (Bullard) Rhodes of Commerce.

Phillip graduated from Commerce High School in 1964. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the Air Force after 23 years of distinguished service. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross.

His love and pride for his family were apparent to all who knew him. He loved to talk to anyone who would listen and never met a soul he didn’t like. His greatest joys were his grandsons who adore and miss their Paw Paw.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with Bob Spears officiating.
