Phyllis originally worked at the offices of the American Dental Association in Chicago and later obtained certification in medical records and tumor registry technology while Bob completed his medical training. Phyllis was known to all for her quiet gentle ways. Her interests in others and what they had to say was characteristic. She and Bob travelled widely and her appreciation for the arts and participation in synagogue and philanthropic activities were consistent. In her later years she was a volunteer for the Hospice Program at Mercy Hospital. One could always be sure that she would listen and try to help. These qualities of love of family, patience, interests, and compassion for others describe her life. A true blessing to all.
