

Ray was born on September 3, 1944, in Carthage, Missouri, to Ralph Gollhofer and Bertha Julia Grasskemper. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, commitment, and devotion to family.
Ray earned his Bachelor’s degree in Administration from Pittsburg, Kansas, and proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He spent much of his life in Carthage, Missouri, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1993 and later settling in Nicoma Park in 2008.
Ray found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved 1950s country music, and his favorite color was yellow. Some of his happiest moments were spent outdoors in his yard, watering flowers and trees, surrounded by the people he loved most. Ray had a wonderful sense of humor and treasured the laughter he shared with family and friends. Through his actions, he taught the importance of commitment and consistency. Above all, he wished to be remembered as an honest and caring man who loved his family deeply.
He was preceded in death by Diane Gollhofer in 1982 and Myra Gollhofer in 2010.
Ray is survived by his four children: Randall Gollhofer and wife Jennifer of Yukon, Oklahoma; Douglas Gollhofer of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Roberto Cordero Jr. and wife Julie of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Marla Cordero of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by his brother, David Gollhofer, and wife Linda of Springfield, Missouri.
Ray leaves behind fifteen grandchildren: Ren Cordero, Roberto Cordero III, Thomas Cordero, Kaleb Cordero, Bridgett Hart and husband Patrick, Amanda Wolfe and husband Bobby, Ryan Cordero and spouse Kyndell, Sierra Holling, Madison Cordero, Jaxon McElwee, Gavin McElwee, Dakota Gollhofer, Alisha Clark, and Draven Rae. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Zoe Vega, Jaxon Cordero, Gaberial Wolfe, Dexter Patrick Hart, and Adley Mae Guidry.
