Raymond Jerral French was born March 27, 1928 in Granite, Oklahoma to Raymond and Opal Virginia (Woods) French. He passed away October 13, 2018. Raymond worked as a computer programmer analyst at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. Raymond met the love of his life, Irene, and they got married in November 1950. He was enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy from 1948-1952. Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also had a lake house at Lake Eufaula for over 30 years. He also had a green thumb for gardening and grew flowers and vegetables. Raymond was an animal lover, especially for cats and dogs. He was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Midwest City. Raymond was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Raymond is survived by his son, Neil and wife Theresa French; daughter, Marla and husband Royce Junghanns; son, Dale and wife Michelle French; granddaughter, Jennifer Jessee and significant other Joe Hawkins; grandson, Bradly and wife Jamie Jessee; grandson, Adam Junghanns; granddaughter, Adrianne and husband Eric Bontempo; granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Greg Mulkey; granddaughter, Cesiley and husband Andy Bouseman; granddaughter, Leasa and husband Tommy Weldon; granddaughter, Amy and husband Mike Taylor; great-grandchild, Marissa and husband Brent Gage; great-grandchild, Taylor Weldon; great-grandchild, Morgan and husband Richard Turner; great-grandchild, Tyler Weldon; great-grandchild, Isabella Taylor; great-grandchild, Gracie Taylor; great-grandchild, Brady Taylor; great-grandchild, D.J. Dunn; great-grandchild, Ella Jessee; great-grandchild, Anna Jessee; great-grandchild, Enrique Junghanns; great-grandchild, Max Mulkey; great-grandchild, Kael Mulkey; great-grandchild, Ryker Bouseman; great-great grandchild, Tavery Gage; great-great grandchild, Kambrie Gage; great-great grandchild, Renley Gate; great-great grandchild, Thomas Gage; brother, Kenny and wife Reba French; brother, Larry and wife Joy French; brother-in-law, Jerry Hogan; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Opal; wife, Irene French; and his sister Myrna Sue Hogan. A funeral service will be held at 1:00P.M., Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 700 North Air Depot Boulevard, Midwest City, OK. Interment will be directly following at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran School, or to the charity of your choice.
