It is with deep sadness the family of Raymond Carl Handke, Jr. announces his passing following a lengthy illness. Raymond was a lifelong resident of Tuttle, OK where he managed Tuttle Feed & Grain, a subsidiary of Braum’s.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Carl Handke, Sr. and Velma Handke, and his brother Terry Lawrence Handke who died at birth, as well as various extended family members. He is survived by his sisters, Janet Handke of Tuttle, Carol Gaines and husband, Mark, of Oklahoma City, and Mary Comm of Loveland, CO; nieces, Kari Dykstra and husband Josh, and their children, Collin, Ella, and Grayson Dykstra of OKC, and Jenna Comm of Thornton, CO; and nephews, Greg Englebretson and sons, Gaige Iverson and Grady Englebretson of Newalla, and Zach Comm of Denver, CO.
Raymond leaves behind a bevy of good friends and neighbors who loved and respected him. He was a vital member of the community of Tuttle and he will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Tuttle at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Viewing will be Monday November 12th from 4-7 pm at FBC Tuttle.Internment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. The family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers and in honor of Raymond.
