Raymond Randall King

Raymond Randall King passed from this life on July 16, 2025, at the age of 84. Ray was born on November 24, 1940 to Thomas and Manzanillo King, the oldest of six children. He served honorably in the USAF for 20 years, spending time in Alaska, Germany, and Turkey before settling in OKC while serving with the 3rd Combat Communications Group (MOAB) at TAFB. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Ray attained an Associate’s Degree from Rose State College and began his career with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Electronics Engineer Instructor, retiring after 20 years of service. Ray enjoyed traveling, movies, watching boxing, playing cards, listening to audio books, and spending lots of time with friends and family. Ray was a devoted husband for 63 years and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his ever-growing family. Ray is survived by his wife Carole, his sons, Tom, and Randy with wife Michele, brother Kenneth King, sisters Deborah Loun and Sharron Waters, grandchildren Ryan King and wife Liz, Ariele King, Chase King, Brandon Moore and wife Tiffany, Miranda King, and Donnie Armstrong, and great grandchildren Karisa, Kyler, Aiden, Chance, Solomon, Noah, Taylor, and Jackson. Ray was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers David and Thomas, and grandson Trey. The services and interment will be private.
