Rene Bada 85 of Oklahoma City completed her life’s journey and returned to the Lord Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Oakcrest Church of Christ, 1111 SW 89th St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Scott Bulmer officiating.
Rene was born May 29, 1932 in Bray, Texas to Joe and Frances Moore (Both deceased). Rene married Ron Bada October 21, 1976.
Rene was the youngest of 6 children- 3 brothers Junior Moore, Buster Moore, Chester Moore and 2 sisters Thelma Ponder and Mildred Parker all of whom preceded her in death.
She went to school at Hedley, Texas and spent most of her life in the Texas panhandle as a wife and mother. She worked as a licensed beautician.
She had a strong faith in God and was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ in Amarillo, Texas before moving to Oklahoma City in 1991 and joining Oakcrest Church of Christ.
She is survived by husband, Ron Bada of the home; 2 daughters, Debbie Anderson and husband Jerry of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Sherri Pancoast of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren, Chad Pancoast and wife Tausha and Sara Pancoast; 4 great grandchildren, Randal King, Ryan King, Owen Pancoast, and Jayci Ellison; as well as 20 nieces and nephews.
