Rhonda “Bird” Joyce Thompson-Stephens, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2026. She was born on September 12, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Marland and Joyce “Thompson”.
She was a 1972 graduate of Southeast High School. She was a very happy, family-oriented person who enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Rhonda truly lived life to the fullest through the simple things in life and was always able to see the good in everyone and everything. She was the most vibrant and entertaining person with a splash of RUM.
Rhonda was preceded by her four brothers: Milo Thompson, Tony Thompson, Travis Thompson, and Monte Thompson.
She is survived by her fiancé, Rodger Foster; Her three sons, Chad Stephens, Joseph Stephens, and John Stephens; Her cousin Shelia Ek; Her best friend Marketta Doyle; and many grandkids, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
