Richard Piersol Dulaney left this earth on June 2, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born on February 12, 1942 to Virginia P. and Luther Thomas Dulaney. Richard was a graduate of Lawrenceville Academy in Lawrenceville, NJ class of 1961. He then attended The University of Arizona earning a degree in theater and became a film producer. Prior to his career he was a proud member of the Air Force and served two tours in Vietnam. Richard and his brother Tom Dulaney carried on the long-standing tradition of giving back to the Oklahoma City community including The Oklahoma City Zoo, The Oklahoma Centennial Celebration, and The McGee Eye Institute, just to name a few. Richard loved to travel and visited many countries. He enjoyed spending the fall season in Harbor Springs, Michigan, sitting by a fire solving puzzles, exploring theories, and watching old movies. He loved his dogs, show tunes, reading, and traveling the world. Most of all Richard loved Jesus. He was a long-time member of Greystone Presbyterian church. Richard was kind, smart, and a very generous person. Richard was predeceased by his parents Virginia P. and Luther Thomas Dulaney and his brother L. Thomas Dulaney Jr. Richard will be greatly missed by his nephews Geoffrey P. Dulaney and Luther T Dulaney lll, his niece Lisa Dobbs, along with her husband Jimmy Dobbs. He is also survived by his great nephews Scott Fisher, Reid Fisher, Baker Dulaney, Jay Dulaney, and Thomas Dulaney. There will be a private family graveside service to celebrate his life.
