

Richard Lee Kley, Sr. passed away July 1, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on March 4, 1930 in Miami, OK to John Lewis Kley and Beulah Leonna (Walker) Kley. He is survived by his loving wife Doris of 65 years; children, Richard L. Kley, Jr. and wife Karen of Grove, OK and Deborah L. Cooke and husband Jim of OKC, OK; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; and brother, Bobby Wayne Kley. Richard was a member of Sheridan Assembly of God in Tulsa, OK for many years and served on the board as president for one year. He retired from Rockwell International after 29 years working as an inspector and lead man. They built parts for 747 aircraft and parts for the Apollo program that went to the moon. He was the first president for local 952. For many years Richard and his wife Doris played Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for handicap children and many other places. The last Santa Clause he did was at the Hefner Mansion in OKC where they resided. He served in the military, was a boxer in his early years, loved to play golf on occasion and one of his favorite hobbies was hunting. His family would like to thank the host of Doctors and Nurses with the Mercy Network and the Oklahoma Heart Hospital who cared for him the past 4 years and to Integris Hospice House for their love and support. A formal visitation will be Friday, July 3, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
