Ricky Lynn Coan

April 24, 1945 – March 5, 2025

Rick was born April 24, 1945, in Sycamore, IL to Leslie and Bernis Coan. At age 17, Rick left school to join the Navy and served honorably during the Vietnam conflict. He passed on March 5, 2025 after a long illness.

Rick worked for many years at U-Haul, retiring as general manager of the Sunnylane store in Del City. Before his illness, he spent his retirement crafting, riding his motorcycle, fishing and enjoying life with his loving wife, Terry Caldwell Coan.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dennis Coan, and his wife, Terry. He is survived by two sisters, Deanna Capko and Sharon Mullen, and a brother, Larry Coan, his stepson, David Caldwell, stepdaughter, Debra Caldwell Craig, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
