I will always remember how Robert taught me to work on the ranch, I learned so much about so many things. From tractors to building a garage, working with him got me through my worst days. He not only taught me how to improve my work ethic, but how to put my depression behind me and keep moving on with my life. I really enjoyed hunting with him and making jerky, found peace in being on the lake fishing with him, and watched so many movies I could never count up there. He enjoyed taking jabs at me for being a "softer Marine" than he, though he said it wasn't my fault I wasn't trained the same way. I will always carry his lessons and memory with me.
