Robert Dale Boswood

Robert Dale Boswood, 79-year-old resident of Choctaw, OK, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born May 10, 1931 in Berlin, OK, he was the son of William Kylie and Ina Della Miller Boswood. Robert was a longtime plasterer in the Oklahoma City area, working in stucco design on plaster walls. He loved traveling, camping for many years in RV’s and tents both. He also loved taking pictures. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Kyle, Bill, Gilbert, Phillip, and David; and 1 sister, Betty Jean Lowe. Survivors include his wife Betty Wise Boswood of the home; 1 son, Alan Dale Boswood and his wife Kathleen of N. Canton, OH; 1 daughter, Tammie (Bryan) Swinney of Bethany, OK; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 4 sisters, Dot Testerman of Dale, OK; Della Hill of Ada, OK; Ann Bacon of Sulphur, OK; Karen Boswood of N. Pole, AK; 3 brothers-in-law, Jeff, Alvin, and Melvin Wise; 4 sisters-in-law, Arlene Cannon; Linda Ashley, Glenda Yones; and Alvina Gladio; a number of nieces and nephews and special friend Ginger. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Oklahoma City, OK with burial to follow at Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jones, OK.
