Robert Milton Guinn Jr., age 87, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Robert was born January 15, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Robert M. Guinn, Sr. and Ava (Young) Guinn. Robert was married to Glenna Rae (Welch) Guinn for 61 years. At the age of 18, Robert joined the United States Navy. During his time in the service, he learned how to fly airplanes and worked as an Aviation electronics technician. He then went on to work at the FAA as an electrical engineer, Air Traffic control instructor, then retiring in 1994 as head of Automation with the FAA, dedicating a total of 31 years. Robert also enjoyed teaching higher math & physics classes at OCCC. Robert is survived by his wife, Glenna Guinn; his daughter Cathy Larsen; sons Rob Savage and Paul Guinn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ave Guinn; sister Norma June Campbell. A graveside service for Robert will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
