Robert Kellner, a devoted husband, proud veteran, and cherished "Papa," passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the age of 74. Born in the small town of Vici, Oklahoma, to his loving parents Robert and Fern Kellner, Robert carried the values of hard work and kindness with him throughout his life.
A Life of Service and Love
In 1971, Robert answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Air Force. He achieved the rank of Sergeant, a testament to his discipline and dedication.
The greatest chapter of his life began in 1999 when he met the love of his life, Nhung Dinh. Together, they shared 22 beautiful years of marriage until her passing in 2020. Their home was built on a foundation of mutual respect and a shared joy for life’s simple pleasures.
Family and Passions
Robert was a man who truly understood the importance of connection. His favorite moments were spent:
Traveling: Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
Cooking & Eating: He expressed his love through food, finding peace in the kitchen and joy at the dinner table with his family.
Conversation: He was known for his love of talking—sharing stories, wisdom, and laughter with his family for hours.
His legacy lives on through his two daughters, Quynh and Quyen, and his seven grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Robert’s warmth and the sound of his voice during long family chats will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."
Robert is reunited now with his beloved Nhung and his parents. He leaves behind a family that will forever honor his memory by traveling often, eating well, and keeping the conversation going.
