Robert honorably served in the U.S Army. He served in Germany, Korea, and did 2 combat tours in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He lived in Hawaii for a while after the army but then moved back to Oklahoma and worked at Tinker Air Force Base till he retired. Robert enjoyed hunting with his friends during his free time.
He is survived by his 2 younger brothers, Richard L. and wife, Stacey Puckett of Mustang, Oklahoma and Danny Puckett and Gloria Dix as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion, Louise Franks of 38 years.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73159.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
