Uncle Bobby was my dad's younger brother. I remember when I was about eight years old, Bobby would've been not quite twenty and he was that kind of uncle who always made sure that us kids were made to feel welcome, like we belonged around the adults. I was shy and would've went unnoticed a lot but Bobby made me important. He was fun when he was young and he didn't out grow it.
Five days ago my dad, Bobby's older brother, Clay Tipton succumbed to illness at the age of seventy two. Now I'll be without two of the great men in my life but I'm blessed that they were here to teach me how to be a kind, smart, hard-working and honest man. They were also doing these things while smiling and they made it look easy sometimes but it certainly isn't easy. Perhaps they are together now, maybe even watching me. If so, I'm going to make sure they see me happy. Thank you uncle Bobby, thank you dad.

Janna,

So sorry to hear about the loss of Bob. The world was a better place because of him being in it. He taught me many life lessons and now I am passing them on to my children. Though I haven't you or Bob in many years, I knew your door would always be open to me. My prayers are with you.

I never spoke to him at any time that I didn't hear that funny smile or that laugh in his voice! He did love those jokes and pranks. Your emotional strength during the last few months have impressed on my heart the love you had for each other. Our love goes out to both of you... Frank & Mary Harjochee
