

Ronald Leslie Crabbe, Jr. 63, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Oklahoma City. He was born in Houston, Texas to Ronald L, and Juanita Crabbe, Sr. He is survived by his wife Betty Hale, daughter Angelia and husband Brad, grandchildren Devin, Dylan and Sara Kate, all of Georgia. A sister, Renee of Houston, brothers, Ray and Debbie of Houston, Michael and Jolynn, of Tulsa, and John of Fayetville, AR. Cousins, Disa, Mila, and Blaze also of Houston. He is also survived by special friends of Eufaula and Georgia.
Ron enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam with Special Forces. He was a dedicated veteran who reached the rank of captain. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart and Silver Star. After returning to the United States, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry-Biology. He also received a Masters in Education, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law. Ron was a loving, caring and patient man. He enjoyed the sportsmanship of hunting and fishing. After the marriage to Betty, they both learned the true meaning of being married “for sickness and in health”.
Services will be held at Our Lord’s Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 2, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Until we meet again, Peace be with you. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Administration for phone cards for Veterans.
