I'm really thankful that I had Ron as my father-in-law for the past 37 years or so, since I married his youngest daughter Kathy in 1984. I really never felt like a son-in-law, as he treated me just like others in the family from the first day we met. I've always appreciated that. Ron taught me a lot about life, including how to handle the many decisions that life threw our way. He always said that you should treat others fairly in all situations. Also, I learned about how to work hard and provide for my family, just as he did. He made it clear that he always wanted the best for my family and me. I appreciate the time that I got to spend with him over the years. He was a great role model, mentor and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Mike
