Ross William Howard was born in Oklahoma City on February 27, 1958, and went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Oklahoma and MBA at the University of Texas. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at OU.
Ross is survived by his brothers, Robert Howard and wife Linda, and Douglass Howard and wife Susan; nieces Marjorie Wetwiska (Steven), Lindsay Boan (Spenser), and Marci Johnson (Jeremy); and nephew Luke Howard (Carly). He was preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Howard, Jr., and mother Marjorie Howard.
Ross embraced life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed golf, tennis, pickleball, music, and traveling the world. He loved cheering on the OKC Thunder and OU Sooners. He was a man of great faith and was involved in many church ministries and activities. Ross was known for his engaging and outgoing personality and his warm smile and joyful laugh. He had a great love of life and showed genuine interest in all he met. Ross was a bright light to all who knew him, including numerous lifelong friends and new friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at Frontline Church Downtown. Frontline Church is renting out the adjacent parking garage at 123 NW 10th St. It will be available starting at noon at no charge. Access in and out of the parking lot is from 10th St.
