Sara Ann Vincent was born on March 13, 1968 and went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2018. Sara married Shan Spain on Sept. 5, 2001 and they were blessed with their beloved daughter Kyla Ann Spain on November 15, 2004.
Sara graduated from Putnam City West High School where she made All-State in basketball. She also graduated from Southern Nazarene University where she was a member of their 1989 National Championship Women’s Basketball Team.
Sara was an employee of the state of Oklahoma for 24 years, where she loved her latest position as a program manager with the Commission for Children and Youth.

In addition to Shan and Kyla, Sara leaves behind her mother, Abbi Wilson and her husband, Jim; her father, Bill Vincent and his wife, Susan; her brother, Brad Vincent and his son Dane Vincent; her “adopted” sisters Guyla Wilson and Kristine Cercone; nieces Rebecca Spain and Caroline Spain; brothers-in-law Royce Spain and his wife, Tami, Darin Spain and his wife, Ann Marie, and their son, Cole; “Aunt” Lynda Arnold and her husband Dale; cousins, Greg and Trisha Cleaver, Fran Graham Groseclose and Carole Graham Minter; extended family includes Vanda Klopfenstein, Kristal Klopfenstein Mitchell, Erin Newkirk Workman, Avril Freeman Jaborski, Tracy Harrison Brock, Sandy Ochoa Brazil, Carrie Heightley Schimmels, Dorothy Brown and Penny Taylor Stokesberry.
A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church, immediately following will be a reception celebrating Sara’s life.
