Shanna Lee Healy

Shanna Lee Healy, 37, of Oklahoma City passed from this life on August 20, 2017. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Service and public visitation will be held on Saturday from 10am to 6pm. A service celebrating Shanna’s life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, Aug 27th at the Advantage Chapel located at 7720 S. Penn Ave in OKC.

Shanna was born on Oct 22, 1979 in Houston, TX to Billy Wayne Daughtry and Charlotte Marie Gray. She was raised and attended schools in the Garland, TX area. Following high school she enrolled in cosmetology school where she learned to be an aesthetician. She spent many years working for Beauty Brands in Texas and in 2008 she relocated to Oklahoma where she continued her work with Beauty Brands. She was a feisty and savvy businesswoman and in February of 2017 she opened Derma Spa near 50th and May inside Sola Salons. Shanna adored being an Esthetician and she had many loyal clients that had been with her for nearly a decade. She enjoyed chatting with them about their lives and she loved many of them like they were her own family. Shanna was always available to listen to their struggles and celebrate their accomplishments and she was a trusted source of sound advice for anyone needing a bit of direction.

Shanna’s favorite holiday was Halloween and in 2010 while attending a Halloween party she met the love of her life, Jason Healy. Shanna and Jason dated for several years before marrying on May 21, 2013 in Eureka Springs, AR. Although Jason and Shanna were blessed with just 7 short years together, they made a lifetime of amazing memories in that time. They were truly best friends and soulmates and they loved each other as much on their last day together as they did on their first day together.

Shanna was an outgoing and dependable woman who loved to meet new people. She was open-minded, non-judgmental and a self-described “fag hag,” who was willing to accept people just as they were. She loved having friends over to her house to swim and eat and people enjoyed being around her because she was fun and crazy, but always in a responsible way. She was super organized and a planner, yet loved being spontaneous. She never missed a chance to help a friend in need and was generous with her resources and possessions.

Shanna was truly and incredibly special person who loved her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, a fiercely loyal friend, a talented and trusted esthetician, a lively and encouraging co-worker, and a caring and selfless human being who will certainly be missed by all who knew her. Left behind to carry on her legacy of kindness and compassion are her husband Jason Healy of Oklahoma City; sisters in law: Danielle Healy, Lauren Healy, Andrea Healy; brother in law Shawn Healy; sister Amber Booe and sister in law Tracy Schickedance; close friends: Janice and Randy Croft and family, Justin Ballard, Matt Lunn, and Junior Aguirre, and many others; her special pets: Cooper, Addie, Sophie, Gator the cat, and her deceased dog Norman.
