Sharron Irene Smith

Sharron was born February 16, 1964, to parents Alma Marie Bizzell and Wayne Douglas Chaffin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Growing up Sharron completed elementary school, then graduated from John Marshall High School. She decided to follow her passion of helping others and went to Arizona School of Nursing, where she obtained her degree and became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and a traveling caregiver.

Eventually, Sharron decided to have a child, Yvette Sharren Bizzell whom she adored dearly. She loved her daughter with her whole heart and made sure to teach her everything she knew. She wanted to instill in her daughter to enjoy all that life has to offer, and to enjoy the spontaneity of life. The most important thing to Sharron was to be a good mother before anything else, because family was the most important thing to her.

Sharron had a big heart and loved to take care of others, which made her the consummate caregiver. She also had a passion for travel for which she was dubbed a “Flower Girl” meaning she loved to travel. If you were traveling, she was going with you. When Sharron’s family planned out-of-town trips, she loved to sing along to songs, even if she didn’t know the lyrics, which was the best part of the trips. Sharron also loved to shop. Everyone knew that shopping and traveling were Sharron’s most favorite hobbies.

Though Sharron is no longer here on earth, she will be remembered through all the memories created on her travels and shopping excursions. She will be cherished in spirit by her loved ones and close friends.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents Alma M. Bizzell Brown King.

Sharron is survived by her loving daughter Yvette Sharren Bizzell, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and her brothers; Zachary Linwood Bizzell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Delbert Wayne Bizzell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Curtis Brown Bizzell, of Arizona, her father Wayne Douglas Chaffin, along with seven nieces and fourteen nephews.

A celebration of life for Sharron will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
