Shawnna Denise Hill, 47, was born April 22, 1979 and passed from this life, September 30, 2026. She lived in Oklahoma City pretty much her whole life. She went to church at Trinity Crossing Church in Tuttle, OK for a few years and has attended God Of No Limits Family Ministry Church for at least the last four years. She served on the feeding team for a couple of years and assisted in various areas of hospitality. She always tried to bring something to the church fellowship dinners even when she didn't have much. We recently learned that she gave several women off of the streets a safe place to stay. She tried to help everyone she could.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Norman Roush and Launa Jackson, Delmer and Bertha Hill and brother Sunday Hill. Shawnna is survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Hill, mother, Deborah Lane and husband, Jack of Eufaula OK, father, Duke Hill and wife, Diane of Jones, OK, mother, Sandy Tokar and husband, Mike of Oklahoma City, six siblings; David Hill and wife, Sarah of Oklahoma City, Ashley Kirk of Oklahoma City, Shannan Hill and wife, Penny of Minco, OK, Sandy Don Hill of Palm Springs, FL, Shaz Hill of Whitesboro, TX and Strike Hill and wife, Whitney of Jones OK. Shawnna is also survived by her son, Seth Hill, who was raised with love by her mother. Seth and his fiancé, Ariel Newberry also of Eufaula are expecting Shawnna's first grandchild, Aires Marie in early February. Shawanna also has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Over the last 17 years, Shawnna has lived a life of recovery that confronted her with assorted daily physical challenges that too many of us take for granted. She didn't spend much time belly aching about it. More so she just pushed on through, to show the rest of us to be way more grateful.
Shawnna loved her cats. That was undisputed. Some of us, and you know who you are, got to develop a special relationship with her cats when helping out with them when she could not be there, but we got to love Shawnna through loving her cats.
Much thanks to Pastors Marty & Cherie, Roger & Debbie, Sarah Perry, Candron & Jennifer, Thor, Charles, Uncle Ronnie and countless others who have helped Shawnna over the last few years, months and weeks.
She was one of a kind and has a special place in all our hearts. Best of all, she loved Jesus and was ready to meet Him! She will be missed.
