Shirlene Burgesser Swan, age 83, passed away August 17, 2011. She was born in Denver, Co. to Claude and Irene Burgesser. She graduated from Edgewater High School and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. She was employed by Braniff International Airlines as a flight attendant.
She married Roger Houliston Swan in February 1951 and they were happily married for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband. Shirlene is survived by her two children Kristie Swan Matheson and her husband Keith and Sheldon Burgesser Swan and his wife Tracey; four grandchildren; Kole Matheson, Chad Matheson, Brody Swan and Hayley Swan, and one great grandchild, Eliza Jade Matheson.
In recent years Shirlene has enjoy traveling around the world with friends & spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Oklahoma City.
