

Steven Gary Edsall, age 69 of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on May 11, 2019. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave in Oklahoma City. A public visitation will take place on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 12pm to 8pm and a funeral service in his honor will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 18, 2019, both at Advantage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
Steven was born on April 30, 1950 in Hancock, NY to Memphis Fred and Doris Vivian (Holbert) Edsall. After school he joined the United States Air Force when he proudly served his country. During his service, he met and married Uicha Ku. His service in the Air Force sent their family to many places in the United States and Europe. After retirement he moved his family to Oklahoma City where they stayed for the remainder of his life.
Steven enjoyed the outdoors and would often go deer hunting or fishing. He loved to cook, and some of his specialties included Italian food and barbeque. You could often find him watching television or movies, but his favorite thing to do was read books. He will be remembered as a kind, honest, quiet and humble man. He was a great listener, always willing to help anyone in need, and was a great friend to many people. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Uicha Ku Edsall; son, Pom Soo O; parents: Memphis Fred and Doris Vivian (Holbert) Edsall; sister, Francine McEntire; and brothers: John and Jack Edsall
He is survived by his daughter, Hanna O and her husband Yoon Chul Kang; grandchildren: Rachael Kang and Samuel Kang; brother, Butch Edsall and numerous other family and friends.
