

Steven Wayne Yarbrough, of Jones, Oklahoma, was born on November 6, 1969, in Burley, Idaho, to Gary Dee and Paulette M. (Henkle) Yarbrough and passed away on September 15, 2025, at his home in Jones, Oklahoma.
After graduating high school, Steven attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, where he became a proud member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He spent his early years in Idaho before moving to Oklahoma City in 1994. Over the years, he also called Dallas, Texas home before eventually returning to Oklahoma City in 2017. Steven was a gifted Interior Designer whose creativity, attention to detail, and passion touched the lives of many within this industry.
Steven had a deep appreciation for music and could often be found listening to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir or NPR. He had a special gift for humor and was known for his witty nicknames and the warmth he brought into every room. Steven inspired others to be kind, curious, and to appreciate the beauty of history and architecture. He valued simplicity and made it a point to find joy in everyday moments.
He was a proud member of the Lions Club – Capitol Hill Chapter, and his many accomplishments were matched only by his generous heart and love for others.
Steven is survived by his dad Gary Yarbrough Father, stepmom Star Yarbrough, sister Stacey Yarbrough, his beloved pet, Luke Wayne Yarbrough, who was his constant companion and numerous family members from Idaho and Nebraska.
Steven’s presence, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life for Steven will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
