Sue H. Callahan

Sue’s service will be held 10am Saturday Oct 10th at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2pm to 8pm Friday Oct 9th at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral home.

Sue was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on January 29, 1938. She graduated from Will Rogers High School, continuing on receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa and her Masters from University of Central Oklahoma in Business Administration.

After dating for nearly 20 years, Sue married the love of her life, Bob Callahan on January 19th, 2001; they were married just shy of 20 years.

Sue retired as the Executive Director for the State of Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System. Sue enjoyed cooking, entertaining, crafting and spoiling her six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. In fact, the driving force of her entire life was her family.

Sue is survived by her husband, Bob; her sons, Chip and Greg Peterson; grandchildren, Hunter Sidorakis, Hank, Taylor Jake, Harper, Emma and Hutch Peterson; brothers, Don and Vernon Haddox; and other family and friends.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents Faye and Vernon Haddox as well her nephew, Todd Haddox.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
