Sue Nell Husmann

Sue Nell Husmann, 83 was born September 16, 1933 in Kaw City, Oklahoma. She passed away suddenly Monday, September 19, 2016 in her home with her husband, of 62 years, by her side. She married JoeIrl Husmann on December 24, 1953. They adored one another and from their love, three daughters were born. Sue loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She has traveled an unimaginable number of miles following the interests of her "grand kids". She was a woman strong in her faith and instilled in her family the value of service through her examples of giving her time and resources. She was there to pitch in and do whatever she could to help out or help someone who needed some kindness or care. She never missed an opportunity to attend any event in their lives. Her hobbies included cooking/baking, painting, crafting, quilting and she loved making Christmas crafts for her family. She loved Christmas, her Christmas tree was always decorated by Thanksgiving and she couldn't pass by a Christmas store without stopping. Her family was the most important thing in her life.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home, her daughters and her sons-in-law, Joleta and Tom Pate of Kingwood, Texas, Rhonda and Brad Herman of LaRue, Texas and Stephanie and Jerry Kendall of Duncan, OK, her grandchildren, Meredith Pate of Austin, Texas, Dustin Pate and fiancé Meredith Phillips of Midland, Texas, Matthew Kendall and Justine Mankin of Oklahoma City, Mark Kendall of Bolivar, Missouri, Nathan and Emily Kendall and their son Aiden and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3600 NW Expressway, OKC with Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper.
