Talisha Lavon Hodge

Talisha Lavon Hodge, known as “Poon” by family and friends, 18 year-old resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on June 21, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Born August 26, 1996 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Sidricke LaJon Lewis and Marlynda Unique Yvonne Hodge. A longtime Oklahoma City resident Talisha loved being around children and really enjoyed the noises that go with children. She had a unique personality and her moods clearly showed to all who knew her well. Talisha leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Sidricke and Marlynda; 3 sisters, Jone’ Hodge; J’nya Griffis; and Imani Walker; all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Donovan Stephens of Oklahoma City; her paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Anita Maxwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and her maternal grandparents, Oliver and Linda Clement of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandparent, Rodney K. Lewis of Dallas, TX; her great-grandmother, Kanisetta Berry of Midwest City, Oklahoma; aunts, Malisha Lewis and Lashunda Mosley; uncles, Vincent (Elsa) Hodge; Dion (Briggitte) Hodge; and James (Sarah) Poteet; nieces, Stormey Hodge and Alayziah Johnson; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, Oklahoma with Dr Lawrence Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, Oklahoma.
