Terry was born on September 26, 1972, to Gene and Diane Hawk at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. Throughout his life, Terry was known for his athleticism, competitiveness, and charm. Whatever he set out to do, he seemed to have a natural talent for it.
Terry possessed a strong work ethic and built a career across several fields. He worked for multiple Departments of Corrections throughout Oklahoma, managed the construction of numerous OnCue locations, served as Director of the Recreational Center in Cushing, Oklahoma, and worked with Krato Defense in Bristow, Oklahoma. Through his work, Terry showed the ability to take on new challenges.
While Terry accomplished much throughout his life, his greatest treasures were his friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with the people closest to him and making the most of every opportunity to have a good time. Whether he was playing golf, throwing darts, bowling, or shooting pool, Terry brought his competitive spirit to the game—and chances are, he was winning! He also loved planning pool parties and spending time with friends at local establishments, creating lasting memories for everyone!.
Terry had a way of making life entertaining, and those who knew him will remember his competitive nature, his charm, his love of a good time, and the unique personality that made him who he was. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Terry is survived by his father, Gene Hawk of Piedmont, Oklahoma; his son, Logan Hawk, and daughter-in-law, Kirsten (Seeger) Hawk, of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Natalee Hawk, of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandson, William Weston Hawk, of Oklahoma City; his brother, Kevin Hawk, of Piedmont, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Hawk; his paternal grandparents, Leon and Velva Hawk; and his maternal grandparents, William Russell and Patricia Terry.
Though Terry’s time here was far too short, the laughter he shared, the friendships he built, and the love he gave will remain with those who knew him. He will be remembered not only for his many talents and competitive spirit, but also for the memories made and the people who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Surrey Hills Club House, 11340 Surrey Hills Blvd., Yukon, OK 73099.
