Thomas Harrison Flesher, Jr., 93, was born in Edmond, Oklahoma to Thomas Harrison Flesher, MD and Margaret Elizabeth Cherry Flesher. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA and MA degree where he also was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also trained as a navigator in the Army Air Corp during WWII.
Tom was an architect with Noftsger, Lawrence, Lawrence and Flesher. He was President of the National Council of Architect Registration Boards in 1982, and was a member of American Institute of Architects.
Tom was an original member of Quail Creek Golf & Country Club where he was President in 1974. He was also President and a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club. He married Ann Noftsger December 12, 1947 and they were married for over 68 years. He and Ann were members of Nichols Hills United Methodist Church for 53 years.
He is preceded in death by his sister Margaret Cherry Flesher. Tom is survived by his wife Ann Flesher; sister Ann Allen and brother David A. Flesher, MD and wife Dolly; son Thomas H. Flesher III, MD and wife Joni; daughter Nancy S. Flesher; grandchildren Thomas H. Flesher IV and wife Lindsay, William H. Flesher, Michael M. Flesher, Bridget Thedorff as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2016 at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
