Thomas Eugene Hunt, age 61, of Midwest City, passed away May 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 23, 1956 in Long Beach, CA. to Melvin Carl and Peggy Lou (Taggart) Hunt. Thomas served his country in the United States Army. He was a federal police officer in charge of The Federal Protective Services and retired from U. S. Government. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Colonel for American Volunteer Reserve. Thomas was an ordained minister with an online ministry called “Prayer Warriors”. He spent time collecting coins, guns, and corresponding on his ham radio. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife, Danielle, and loving his grandkids. He also had a love for dogs, especially Pugs. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Rick Hunt. Survivors include his wife, Danielle (Smart) of 23 years; his children, Rachelle Hunt and wife Jennifer, James Hunt, Justin Wise and Jathan Hunt and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Destiny Studer-Hunt and Natalie Hunt; great-grand child, Leilani Polley; and sister, Teresa Hewgill-Hunt. A viewing will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Ft Sill National Cemetery at Elgin, OK at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
