Tony grew up in OKC where he graduated from Putnam City West High School. He eventually landed a position with Hertz Car Rental where he worked for over 25 years up to his death. During that tenure at Hertz, Tony formed many friendships with his coworkers, many of whom became like family.
In June of 2004, Tony and Laci were married in Edmond, OK, and even though that union ended after almost 20 years, they kept a 23-year friendship and remained like best friends. The absolute love of his life came in 2008 with the birth of his daughter, Betsy. They had a bond like no other and one absolute in his life was her. He was so devoted to her and truly was the best dad. She was his #1.
Tony loved country music, although recently, his daughter had “almost” convinced him to become a Swiftie. He enjoyed attending Thunder games and cheering for the OU Sooners. He loved going to the movies with Betsy and her friends and going to Canes. Always the jokester, Tony got a thrill out of challenging everyone on literally everything! He had a running streak with his daughter on Snapchat exchanging goofy pics, and would order literally anything off of Amazon, even just an order of paper plates.
Leaving behind to cherish his memory is his beautiful daughter, Betsy, and her mother, Laci. Tony had an extension of family with Laci and also with his daughter’s friends, whom he loved like they were his own children.
We are comforted by the fact he is reunited with his baby girls, and Betsy’s triplet sisters, Grace and Olivia. We chuckle knowing his favorite dog, June, was most certainly first in line to see him.
Thank you to everyone who knew and loved Tony because to know him, most certainly was to love him.
Visitation for Tony will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St, OKC.
