Torin grew up, lived, and loved his whole life at OK Treehouse in Oklahoma City. His early years were shaped by a family of artists and the creative community at the NWO Performing Arts Center. An AP Honor Scholar and graduate of Classen School of Advanced Studies, Torin moved through the world with a rare blend of curiosity, talent, heart, and a wandering spirit.
A gifted illustrator and poet, Torin created with every waking breath. He received numerous awards and recognitions for his distinct inking style and imaginative creations. His artwork has appeared in galleries, festivals, magazines, comic books, music productions, and even become permanent through tattoo—an extraordinary legacy for someone so young.
Torin was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He is survived by an endless amount of friends and family, his parents—Jes Petrus, Tony Salter, and Adrian Moreland, his sister Talia Salter, and Marceline.
His absence is immeasurable, and his light will forever remain.
