Tracey R. Johnson, 56, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on August 23, 2026. Tracey was born on June 8, 1970, in Midwest City to Charlene and Gerald Dyas. She grew up with a deep love for family, a sharp sense of humor, and a steady determination that shaped every chapter of her life. Tracey spent the early part of her life raising her four children — a role she embraced with devotion, patience, and fierce love. After her children were older, she returned to school and earned her associate’s degree in accounting from Rose State College, an accomplishment she was incredibly proud of. She went on to build a meaningful career at Arvest Bank, where she worked for ten years. Tracey truly loved her job and the people she worked with. Her coworkers jokingly called her “the Walgreens” because she always had whatever anyone needed — medicine, snacks, drinks — tucked away in her office. Caring for people was second nature to her. Tracey faced cancer with extraordinary strength. Even while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, she continued going to work and supporting her family, showing the same resilience and dedication that defined her life. She fought with courage, grace, and a determination that inspired everyone around her. Tracey is survived by her husband, Michael Johnson, and her children: Kimberly Helton, Tiffany Rogers, Michelle Johnson, and Michael Johnson. She was a proud and loving “Grammy,” as she liked to be called, to, Brianna Helton, Joshua Griffin, and Jackson Varley, each of whom brought her endless joy. Tracey’s life was marked by quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her presence will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on August 29, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
