Truett D. Guy

Truett Dean Guy, 82 died on October 15, 2010 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on April 30, 1928 in Gorman, Texas to Otis and Ruby Guy, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Carbon High School and received Associate of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Ranger Junior College and later served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He married Roberta “Toby” Guy on August 11, 1956 who preceded him in death in 2005. Truett is survived by his children, Steven Guy and his wife Gina of The Woodlands, TX and Cindy Chtay of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Steven Guy, Jr. and Nick Guy of The Woodlands, TX and Macaulay Chtay of Edmond, OK. Also survived by his brothers, James Guy and his wife Peggy of Artesia, NM, and Pat Guy and his wife Linda of Granbury, TX. Preceded in death by his brother Weldon Guy.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 from 8am to 9pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services to be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:00am at the Hahn Cook Street Draper Chapel, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in OKC.
