Tyson Glen Harrison passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in the early morning hours of July 4. Ty was born in Oklahoma City to Kay Eaves Harrison and Tyson Dee Harrison. He proudly spent his life in Oklahoma City attending Windsor Hills and Putnam North High School. Dutifully dedicating his working life in the local food industry, Ty began his career as a teenager tirelessly working and managing all areas of the family restaurant - Glen's Hik'ry Inn. He was a very creative and talented chef.
Ty was a dedicated father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend and will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. He took great pride and joy in watching his children, Amanda and Tyson, Jr., grow and mature into the wonderful and successful young adults they are today.
He is survived by children Amanda and Tyson, Jr., mother Kay Harrison of Oklahoma City, father Tyson Harrison and wife Vicki of Somerville, Tenn., sister Jennifer Harrison and fiancé Mike Hardt of Oklahoma City, brothers Greg and Mack Harrison, sisters Valerie and Malachi Harrison, and longtime companion, Debbie Pool.
Funeral services at 10AM Monday, July 9, at Hahn-Cook Street and Draper.
