Victor Lee Christain, 58, was called home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Victor was born December 29, 1953 in Oklahoma City to William and Peggy (Hess) Christain. He was a 1972 graduate of U.S. Grant High School and 1978 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Vic worked for the U.S. Treasury Service as a Revenue Officer for 29 years. His great sense of humor and kindness will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Christain. Victor leaves his wife of 28 years, Melanie Christain; one daughter, Brittany Christain; his father, William “Bill” Christain; siblings, Valerie and Jimmy Cowherd, Jeff and Tiffany Christain, Jennifer and Bob Albauer; in-laws, Basil and Danna Taylor, Lori and Larry Parsons and Tacy Nitzel; and many nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
