I am very saddened to read of Ginnie's death, and send my deepest condolences to Christian,  her brother, sister-in-law, and her extended family.  I would like to share a memory of Ginnie that she and I  would often  look back upon and laugh about….we were about 9 years old and attending Philips Memorial Baptist Church, in Cranston, RI,  where we sang in the children’s choir. We got to know each other and wanted to extend our after church time together and have what is now known as a play date. But it was Sunday….dinner and family was on our parents’ agenda. We both had white bunny fur jackets  (imitation I hope) and we decided to exchange jackets, make the discovery (wink wink) when we got home and then we’d have to see each other to exchange jackets! And it worked! Our parents never found out and we had a couple of extra hours of play time!
