Walter Eugene Clark

Walter Eugene Clark passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. He was born on May 14, 1941, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, to Paul Burgess Clark and Fawntella Campbell. Walter was a proud member of the Cherokee Tribe. His heritage was an important part of who he was, and he carried it with pride throughout his life. Walter grew up in the Tulsa County area and graduated from Sperry High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from August 13, 1963, to August 11, 1967. Following his military service, Walter began a long and successful career as a State Farm Insurance agent for 45 years, from 1968 until his retirement in 2013. Throughout his career, Walter was known for his dedication to his work and the many relationships he built with his clients and community. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Burgess Clark and Fawntella Campbell; his beloved wife, Ellen Clark; and his sister, Pauline Parrott. Walter was a devoted father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He is survived by his son, Quentin Clark and his wife, Shawn; daughter, Fawntella Nollen and her husband, Tim; son, Dean Clark; and son, Daniel Clark and his wife, Tarah. He was a cherished grandpa to Blayne Clark and his wife, Savanna; Kameron Clark and his wife, Lydia; Sierra Chappell and her husband, Landry; Dakota Nollen and his wife, Taylor; Tarin Clark and his fiancé Shelbi Schultz; Avery Clark and her partner Kaitlyn Corn. He was also a proud great-grandpa to Aubree Nollen. Walter found great joy in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He enjoyed listening to country music and oldies and loved spending time playing the slot machines. He appreciated having fun, enjoying life. and making memories along the way. Walter will be remembered for his pride in his Native heritage, Air Force veteran, and his love of family, his dedication to those around him, and the many memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on September 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on September 25, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 731419699, US, on September 25, 2026.
